This Exciting Marathon Event Highlights the Importance of Battling Epilepsy

The fight to End Epilepsy starts with us—determined and resilient individuals and families. Despite different types of epilepsies and challenges—let’s walk together to End Epilepsy. The 2019 Walk to END Epilepsy is a family-friendly walk, reunion and rally event to help raise funds and awareness for children and adults living with epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a neurological condition which affects the nervous system. Epilepsy is also known as a seizure disorder. It is usually diagnosed after a person has had at least two seizures (or after one seizure with a high risk for more) that were not caused by some known medical condition. Epilepsy is generally a chronic and/or lifelong condition.

You can support our event by registering as a participant, creating a team, donating to your favorite team, or by donating to the Epilepsy Foundation Texas. The support of participants raises funds for the essential programs and services provided by Epilepsy Foundation Texas, which helps overcome the challenges of epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

We invite you to be a part of our family-friendly walk bringing together children and adults living with epilepsy, their families, friends, and supporters. All participants receive a t-shirt with their registration fee. We can’t wait to see you there!

Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why Oxford at the Ranch Apartments in Waller, Texas is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event! Don’t be shy—plenty of fun awaits in the greater neighborhood beyond our beautiful apartment community.
