The Korean American Society of Houston is proud to present the 11th Annual Korean Festival Houston! Partnered with dozens of global and local sponsors, the Korean Festival serves over 40,000 visitors and brings a truly exhilarating and spectacular experience to the heart of Houston. Mark your calendars and get ready for another great KFest on Discovery Green this Saturday, October 5th!
Since its inception, the Korean Festival has become one of the largest free cultural events hosted at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to its cultural presentation and culinary experience. You can expect a great weekend of amazing food, interactive games, and special guest performances on Discovery Green’s main stage during Korean Festival.
This project is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance. Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) is a local arts and culture organization whose principle work is to implement the City of Houston’s vision, values, and goals for its arts grantmaking and civic art investments. In short, HAA helps artists and arts nonprofits be bold, productive, and strong.
Discovery Green is a beautiful, vibrant 12-acre park in the heart of downtown Houston that opened to the public in April 2008. The park was envisioned by several committed Houston philanthropists, who saw the space as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create an urban park that would redefine the landscape of downtown. In less than four years, the site that became Discovery Green was transformed from an undeveloped, concrete eyesore into a beautiful and vibrant destination adjacent to the George R. Brown Convention Center.
Experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of Korean culture when you attend Korea Festival 2019! Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. For more information about the event, visit www.kfesthouston.com.
