Is the Creepy Auditorium Actually Haunted? Find Out During This Goosebumps Adaptation

This weekend, take your family to see a frighteningly fun musical they will remember for years to come! On Saturday, May 11th, Main Street Theater will present R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps: Phantom of the Auditorium at Midtown Arts and Theatre Center Houston (MATCH). Don’t miss this show beginning at 2:00 p.m.!

Brooke and Zeke are excited to star in their school's next hit musical, The Phantom – until they hear a rumor that the show is cursed. Mysterious events start happening at the theater, and no one can be sure if it’s just coincidence or the work of…The Phantom. This silly and (only a little) spooky musical is based on the beloved series from R. L. Stine.

R.L. Stine has been referred to as the "Stephen King of children's literature" and is the author of hundreds of horror fiction novels, including the books in the Fear Street, Goosebumps, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, and The Nightmare Room series. Some of his other works include a Space Cadets trilogy, two Hark gamebooks, and dozens of joke books. As of 2008, Stine's books have sold over 400 million copies.

Main Street Theater's mission is to create theater that challenges its audience to think and its artists to grow. MST accomplishes this by presenting an articulate and compelling product in an intimate setting, creating significant employment for Houston-based artists, and memorable theatrical experiences for audiences of all ages.

Get your tickets now to see Goosebumps: Phantom of the Auditorium live at MATCH! Tickets range from $16 to $24 and may be purchased online at www.mainstreettheater.com. This production is recommended for first graders and up. Children under the age of 3 (including sleeping babies) are not allowed in the theater.

Oxford at the Ranch Apartments, the premier apartments in Waller, Texas, is inviting friends and neighbors to attend this unforgettable event! So, lace up your shoes and get ready for a local adventure, like no other!
